FREE Shuttle Service
Available every day of the Festival from 10 AM to 4 PM (extended service hours the morning of the parade (March 7) and the afternoon of the Whale of a Concert (March 15). Please visit our online map for shuttle stops, routes, parking lot and event locations. Park and ride free all day long and migrate with the whales! Due to liability reasons, NO DOGS are allowed on the shuttles.

Stay tuned for upcoming information on “Getting Around” the Festival of Whales. Our new online feature will help you get here without a car via OCTA and Metrolink, and if you do have a car, it will help you with directions, parking and FREE shuttle information. The Festival’s FREE shuttle services all parking locations approximately every 15 minutes, so again, migrate with the whales and hop on board the FREE shuttle to visit every event location!
There are multiple parking lots throughout the Festival. Some of these lots fill earlier than others, but ALL lots are serviced by the FREE shuttle. Please refer to the Festival map for parking options.
• Park free for up to 4 hours in most Harbor lots. Please remember, 4 hours maximum in these lots. All parking lots are monitored by Orange County Sheriff’s Department so please do check your watch when you park and keep an eye on the time. No matter where you park the FREE shuttle services all event locations.
• Park at Doheny State Beach ALL day for only $8 or $2 per hour (pay machine only) each weekend of the Festival. If you wish to take advantage of this pricing please visit the automated pay machines located in the parking lots. The kiosk will not be equipped to handle the special Festival of Whales reduced parking rates. From Doheny, catch the FREE shuttle that services this area approximately every 15 minutes. You can take in the newly revived Whale Walk while you are there.
