Dana Point Symphony Presents Opera and the Ocean

Dana Point Symphony Presents Opera and the Ocean at St. Edwards Church beginning at 7:30 PM, 33926 Calle La Primavera, Dana Point.  Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students under 16 years old, seniors over 65 years old and military with ID.  Purchase tickets at www.danapointsymphony.com  For additional information call 301-832-0388.  The Dana Point Symphony was created through the vision of its artistic and executive director Berenika SchmitzDean Anderson, conductor and music director and The City of Dana Point under the leadership of Councilmember Scott Schoeffel. A new collaboration with the Festival of Whales will bring an Opera and the Ocean concert featuring a new commission from young composer Athena Adamopoulos and a new video art commission from director of the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, Alisa Lapidus. The program will also see the return of soprano Victoria Robertson and violinist Mira Khomik, as well as new tenor Joshua Guerrero and baritone Gregorio Gonzalez in opera aria favorites.
