NEW booth opportunities available at the Festival’s Grand Finale Concert on the Water, BBQ and Spirits Garden.

A special note to our potential sponsors:  A special note to our potential sponsors: The Festival of Whales Foundation realizes that not every sponsor is motivated by a “packaged” sponsorship. With this in mind, we invite each and every sponsor to share your goals and objectives with us so that we may develop a unique sponsorship that fits your needs. The following packages will give you an idea of just some of the benefits we are able to offer you. We look forward to working with you and creating a unique sponsorship!

Moby Dick – $25,000

  • Logo on 52,000 official program/calendar of events distributed March 7, 8, 14, 15 throughout Dana Point, San Clemente, Capistrano Beach and areas of Laguna Niguel via home delivery, rack display and on board all Festival shuttles.
  • Logo in full-page, full-color print ads scheduled to run three weeks prior to, during and after the Festival.

Sponsors may also choose to have one booth along the Harbor Walkway for all four days, based upon availability. Booth space is considered a 10’ x 10’ footprint unless otherwise negotiated. Sponsors provide their own booth/canopy.

  • Social Media Package
      As a sponsor of the Dana Point Festival of Whales, you are entitled to the following social media promotion benefits. The Dana Point Festival of Whales social media accounts included below are Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

    • Dedicated post in all three (3) of our weekly series content pieces on Facebook and Twitter (Trivia Tuesday, Whale Crush Wednesday, Throwback Thursday)
    • Two additional original, dedicated Facebook posts prior to the event
    • Ten original, dedicated tweets (company/brand will be tagged and we will use any
      hashtags requested by the sponsor)
    • Title sponsor of one of our social media contests (t-shirt giveaways, Spot the Bus,

Gray Whale – $10,000

  • Logo on 52,000 official program/calendar of events distributed March 7, 8, 14, 15 throughout Dana Point, San Clemente, Capistrano Beach and areas of Laguna Niguel via home delivery, rack display and on board all Festival shuttles.
  • Logo in full-page, full-color print ads scheduled to run three weeks prior to, during and after the Festival.

Festival Committee Chairs and their special guests at the
Opening Night Reception
on Friday, March 6th

Location of reception to be advised in February.

Sponsors participating at the $1000 level and above
are also invited to go on a complimentary whale watching excursion
during the month of February.
Whale watching excursions based on space availability
and reservations being made seven days in advance of excursion.

The Festival of Whales Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, was created to inform, inspire and attract residents of Dana Point, California and visitors from around the world to the annual Festival of Whales event so they may learn about the importance of ocean life protection and preservation. The annual migration of the California Gray Whale provides the perfect opportunity to share this critical message about protection and preservation of our marine life and also educate the public on water quality issues.

The Foundation brings together the greater community of Dana Point as well as community members and non-profits from around Southern California to focus on these issues and bring greater awareness to the need to partner to bring about a difference in attitude and action. By promoting individual, civic and corporate responsibility for keeping our oceans clean within a fun, festival atmosphere, we are confident that we will make a difference and spread this important message far beyond our own community.
