This special lecture series is perfect for those who want a one-on-one educational experience, marine biologists and guests present recent findings on local whales, dolphins and other marine mammals.
Enjoy a continental breakfast at WInd & Sea accompanied by veteran marine biologist and whale expert, Alisa Schulman-Janiger.
With decades of experience studying whales along the California coast, Alisa is widely respected for her long-term research on gray whales and orcas. During this intimate morning talk, she will share insights from the California Orca and Gray Whale Census, discussing migration patterns, identification techniques, and what years of shoreline-based observation reveal about whale behavior and conservation. This one-on-one educational experience offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from a leading expert while enjoying breakfast in a relaxed harbor setting.
Following the lecture, join us for a whale-watching trip aboard the O’Cean Adventures catamaran departing at 11:00 AM (trip admission not included in lecture fee). Proceeds will benefit the Pacific Marine Mammal Center.
